Hands-on AI: Breakfast Workshop for VCs

About the event

Deal teams spend significant time reviewing pitch decks, consolidating diligence findings, and preparing investment committee materials.

Much of this work involves reading large volumes of information, extracting the important points, and turning them into structured outputs for the firm.

Agentic workflows can significantly reduce this manual synthesis while keeping human judgement in control.

This breakfast session is designed for VCs who want to understand how these systems actually work.

In a guided workshop, you will build a real workflow and see how agentic systems combine document analysis, reasoning, and structured outputs.

The session is practical, collaborative, and focused on real investment workflows rather than theory.

Breakfast and coffee provided.

What we will build

Guided Build: IC Memo Drafting Workflow

During the session we will build a workflow that helps draft sections of an investment committee memo.

The workflow will:

  • ingest supporting materials
  • extract key commercial and strategic information
  • structure the content into a clear deal summary
  • draft sections of an IC memo
  • identify gaps or follow-up questions for the deal team

You will see how the workflow combines retrieval, reasoning, and structured outputs.

The same design patterns apply across other VC workflows, including:

  • deal screening and qualification
  • diligence review
  • industry and market summaries
  • portfolio company monitoring
  • LP reporting and internal updates

  • how to structure an agentic workflow
  • how to connect documents and knowledge sources
  • where human judgement should remain in the loop
