About the event

HR teams manage a constant flow of requests, policy questions, and internal coordination. Much of this work still depends on manual searching, drafting, and follow-up.

Agentic workflows can remove a large portion of this operational friction. The challenge is that most teams have never actually built one.

This breakfast workshop is designed for HR professionals who want practical exposure to how these systems work.

In a guided session, you will build a real workflow and understand how agentic systems combine reasoning, knowledge retrieval, and structured actions.

The session is small, practical, and collaborative. The goal is to build something real and understand how the same patterns apply across many HR processes.

Breakfast and coffee provided.

What we will build

Guided Build: HR Request Triage Agent

In this workshop we will build a fully functioning HR request triage workflow.

The workflow will:

  • analyse an incoming employee request
  • search HR policies and internal documentation
  • classify the request type
  • draft a structured response or recommended action
  • escalate or route when human review is required

By the end of the session you will understand the core building blocks behind agentic workflows and how they combine search, reasoning, and task execution.

The same workflow patterns apply to many HR processes, including:

  • policy and process Q&A
  • employee onboarding coordination
  • HR service desk automation
  • internal knowledge assistants
  • employee lifecycle workflows
